Kurai OS gives a SACCO its members' register, contributions, lending, double-entry accounting, governance and statutory records in one system, built to the Co-operative Societies Act [Chapter 24:05], with the segregation of duties and the audit trail a supervisory committee and an external auditor expect.
Three months without charge, then month to month. Your records remain yours and can be exported at any time.

For registered societies and societies preparing to register: the complete system, on the society's own database, with every control the Act requires. Priced per member; large SACCOs by agreement.
For a group that meets, saves and lends together. One sheet for the whole meeting, kept safe. Free, for as long as you use it.
Every transaction is a controlled function on the society's own database. It verifies the officer, the seat and the authority before it writes, and it writes the audit log in the same transaction. Nothing is recorded by one person alone.
Register of members, categories, admission with identity verification, office bearers and committees as elected by the general meeting, one seat per member.
Periodic declarations, mobile money or cash, each receipt recorded by the Treasurer and countersigned by an authorised officer before it is posted.
Applications, guarantors, loans committee recommendation, management committee decision, tiered pricing, interest accrued to the date of payment, arrears and penalties by rule.
Double entry on a chart of accounts the Board can read, control accounts reconciled to their registers, a trial balance that must agree before a period closes, and an audit pack for the supervisory committee and the external auditor.
Surplus allocation by share-months, dividends and bonuses within the by-laws' limits, statutory reserve and Central Fund contributions, or a savings-group shareout.
The Founding Book holds the society's rules and changes only by resolution. Minutes, resolutions, acclamation votes, elections, and the records the Registrar requires.
Each member sees their savings, capital, loans and the society's position on their phone. The application installs and works offline.
Member investment certificates, capital fund instruments, a social fund with scheduled benefits, and an assistant that answers from the society's own rules. Each switched on by resolution.
A new society starts with the bodies and the controls the Act prescribes, in the Act's terms. It adds its own names and by-laws afterwards; the controls themselves cannot be switched off.
Elected by the general meeting. Every seat votes; a majority of the seats carries, computed from the register of seats rather than entered by hand.
On no other body and answerable to the members, with its own view of the books and the audit trail. It approves any loan to a member of the management committee.
A loan to a supervisory committee member is put to the members by acclamation: every member is notified, any member may object, and the objection is recorded with the member's name.
They originate and record; they do not approve. The second signature rests with the chairperson, vice chairperson, deputy secretary or a committee member. The secretary keeps the records and holds no authority over money.
Seed is for a group that meets to save and lend together. You do not need to be registered, and you do not need a computer. The record keeper fills in one sheet on a phone at each meeting, and the book is done.
Most savings groups never register because they cannot produce the books the Registrar requires. Kurai OS keeps those books from the first meeting, so registration becomes a step rather than a rebuild.
A meeting sheet, members and their money, the share-out. Free for life.
Statements a bank can rely on. A road-to-registration page completed from the group's own records, and a registration pack generated from them.
The Registrar's returns, the audit pack, the supervisory committee's tools, WhatsApp and SMS notices; investment certificates and a social fund as add-ons.
Three months without charge, then month to month. A society that pays annually pays for ten months. The first ten societies to join keep these prices for twenty-four months.
A savings group that saves, lends and shares out at its meetings. Up to 40 members, on a shared database.
Run the society: a society preparing to register, or a small registered society.
Run a registered SACCO, up to 100 members: everything in Core plus what the Act and the Registrar require of a registered body.
Large SACCOs, including those collecting through payroll deduction, and programmes that run many groups.
Member investment certificates · Capital fund instruments · Social fund with scheduled benefits: US$10 each per month. Assistant on the society's own rules: US$15 per month plus usage. Each switched on by resolution of the management committee.
25 members on Core: US$25 a month. 25 members on Growth: US$40 a month (the minimum). 80 members on Growth: US$105 a month. Above 100 members, a negotiated agreement.
A society that does not continue after its trial reverts to Seed; its records remain its own and its share-out still works. Society funds never pass through nexar: each society is its own merchant.
The database refuses a payment, a disbursement, an expense or a correction with one signature, or countersigned by the person who originated it.
Posted lines are never amended or deleted; errors are corrected by a further entry. Every function writes the audit log in the same transaction.
Each Core or Growth society runs on its own database. No society's data is held with another's, and no member data is carried in the software.
Every function reachable from a browser is on an explicit list; a release that exposes an unlisted one fails before it reaches any society.
Every release carries its own proof, applied to an empty reference copy first; 2,272 automated checks run on every build.
The register, the ledger and the documents can be exported on any day. No fixed term. Three months without charge before any payment.
SIMBA SACCO Cooperative Society Limited, Zimbabwe: 27 members, lending since January 2026, applying for registration. Its member data is never shown.
Each a proven change, applied to the reference copy before any society.
A gate in the build refuses a member number, a national I.D. or a phone number in any shared file.
An independent security review is scheduled for 2027. Terms of use and a data processing agreement from nexar accompany every agreement.
nexar, Nyamandi Ecosystems Africa Resources, is a registered Zimbabwean company. It develops and hosts Kurai OS, contracts with each society under its terms of use and data processing agreement, and provides implementation and support. Kurai is Shona for "grow".
nexar never holds a society's funds. Each society is its own merchant, on its own database, with its own records. nexar's role is the software, the hosting and the support.
Invented members and invented money. Switch between a member, the Treasurer, the Secretary and the Chairperson and see what each sees.
Free for life. Seed is being completed with its first groups; join them and help shape the meeting sheet.
